Because of the boat and the depth of the bench, it didn’t give enough room to have the back against the wall. It will be easier to get to more of the pegboard stuff once the boat is gone. If ever.
It’s just over 4 feet tall and has to be mounted to the wall to keep it from being wobbly. I could have added more supports but mounting was much quicker.
The platform on the bottom houses my main power tools, reciprocating saw, drill, rotozip, jigsaw, and circular saw so far. The bench grinder and the clamp are mounted to the table with a hold drilled for the power cords. Bigger tools not pictured are a table saw and a drill press. Pretty nice collection so far. On and theres my dremmel behind the bench grinder.
Used excess pegboard to hang up big stuff on the right.
I did not measure the lower board for that drawer thingie. It just happened to be perfect, it slides in with no additional room.
I’m quite proud of this work bench, took me at a bit at a time about 3 weeks.
